Scan documents to PDF with your phone
Take a photo of each page — or pick them from your gallery — and get one PDF that looks scanned: no shadows, white paper and readable text.
Take photos of your documents or upload them
On a phone the camera opens · add several pages, one by one or all at once
- On a phone, press Take photo and photograph the page from above, filling the screen. Repeat for every page, or choose them from your gallery.
- Keep Document for black-and-white paperwork, or Enhanced colour if there are stamps, signatures in blue or photos. Put the pages in order.
- Press Create scanned PDF and download it.
Like a scanner, without one
Phone photos of paper have uneven light: a shadow from your hand, a darker corner, a grey tint. CLEKARA estimates that lighting from the photo itself and divides it out, so the paper becomes white and the ink stays dark — the same trick scanner apps use.
Pages are placed on A4 by default and compressed sensibly, so a ten-page document stays small enough to email.
Tips for a good result
Photograph in good light, from straight above, with the page filling the frame and on a darker surface.
The result is an image of each page, so its text cannot be searched or copied.
