HOW TO USE IT
  1. Open the PDF. PNG is already selected as the format.
  2. Choose a resolution — 150 DPI for most uses, 300 DPI for printing — and, if you want, limit the pages: 1-5 or 2, 4, 9.
  3. Press Convert to PNG and download each image or all of them in a ZIP.
HOW IT WORKS

Why PNG instead of JPG

JPG compresses by discarding detail, which is fine for photographs but leaves smudges around letters and thin lines. PNG keeps every pixel, so pages with text, tables, charts or diagrams come out crisp — ideal for slides, documentation or posting a page on social media.

Each page is rendered at the resolution you choose, keeping its own size and orientation, and every image is checked to be a complete PNG before it is offered for download.

LIMITS

Worth knowing

PNG files are larger than JPG. For pages that are mostly photographs, JPG is the better choice; you can switch the format in the same tool.

The image is a picture of the page: its text is no longer selectable.

Very large pages at 300 DPI can exceed what a browser allows, especially on iPhone; CLEKARA scales them down instead of returning a blank image.
