Resize images
Make photos exactly the size a website, a profile picture or a form asks for — 1080 × 1080, 600 px wide, half the size — for one image or a hundred.
Drop the images you want to resize
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC · several at once
- Add your images (JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC).
- Choose how: By percentage, exact width or height, Fit inside a box, or Exact size, cropping the excess.
- Press Resize images, check the new dimensions and download.
Sharp results, never stretched
Proportions are always kept: exact width or height adjusts the other side, and Fit inside a box makes the image as large as possible without exceeding it. Exact size fills the box completely by trimming the edges evenly, so faces and products are not squashed.
When an image is reduced a lot it is scaled in successive halves, which avoids the jagged, shimmering edges of a single big jump. The output keeps the original format unless you choose another.
Worth knowing
Enlarging (up to 400 %) cannot invent detail: the image gets bigger, not sharper.
iPhones and iPads limit images to about 16 megapixels; bigger results are reduced automatically and the page tells you.
Frequently asked questions
How do I resize a photo to 1080 × 1080 for Instagram?
Choose Exact size, cropping the excess, type 1080 and 1080 and press Resize images. The photo is cropped evenly from the center.
Can I resize many images to the same width?
Yes. Choose Exact width, type the pixels and every image keeps its proportions.
Does resizing reduce the file size?
Yes, a smaller image weighs less. To control the weight directly, use Compress image.
Are my images uploaded?
No. They are resized inside this browser tab.
