Rotate the pages of a PDF

Turn the pages that came in sideways or upside down, see the result on each thumbnail, and download the PDF saved that way for good.

HOW TO USE IT
  1. Open the PDF. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
  2. Tap a page to turn it 90° clockwise, or use ↺ and ↻ on each page. To turn the whole document, use All left, All right or All 180°.
  3. Press Save PDF and download it. It opens rotated in every viewer.
HOW IT WORKS

Rotated for good, and nothing else changes

Viewers such as Chrome or Adobe Reader let you turn a page on screen, but they do not save it: the next time you open the file it is sideways again. CLEKARA writes the new orientation into the PDF itself, so it opens correctly everywhere — on a phone, a computer or a printer.

Only the rotation of each page is changed. The text, images and fonts are not re-encoded, so there is no loss of quality, and bookmarks, internal links, form fields and the document's title are kept exactly as they were.

The rotation is added to whatever the page already had, so a page that was already turned ends up exactly as you see it on the thumbnail.

LIMITS

Worth knowing

Pages turn in steps of 90°. To straighten a scan that is slightly crooked you need a different kind of tool.

Password-protected PDFs must have their protection removed first.

Long documents are fine: thumbnails are drawn as you scroll, so a 300-page PDF stays smooth even on a phone.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I rotate a PDF and save it?

Open it here, tap the pages you want to turn (or use the buttons to turn them all) and press Save. The downloaded PDF stays rotated wherever you open it.

Can I rotate only one page?

Yes. Tap just that page, or use its ↺ and ↻ buttons. The other pages are not touched.

Does rotating reduce the quality?

No. Only the orientation of the page is changed; images and text are copied exactly as they were.

Will I lose bookmarks or links?

No. The rotation is applied to the original document, so bookmarks, links and form fields are kept.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The file is opened and rotated inside this browser tab and never sent anywhere.
