Interleave the pages of two PDFs
Your scanner only scans one side? Scan all the fronts, flip the stack, scan all the backs, and let CLEKARA put the pages in the right order.
- Put the PDF with the front sides on the left and the one with the back sides on the right.
- Keep The back sides are in reverse order if you scanned the flipped stack.
- Press Interleave pages and download the complete document.
Why the backs come out backwards
When you flip a stack of printed pages to scan the other side, the last sheet ends up on top, so the backs are scanned from last to first. Reversing them before interleaving puts every back right after its front.
If one PDF has more pages than the other, the extra pages are added at the end. Pages are copied as they are, without recompressing.
Worth knowing
Blank backs are kept; remove them afterwards with Remove blank pages.
To combine whole documents one after another, use Merge PDF instead.
