Crop a PDF
Drag a box over the part of the page you want to keep, or let CLEKARA detect the white margins of every page and trim them for you.
Drop the PDF you want to crop
or pick a file from your device
- Open the PDF. The first page appears with a crop box over it.
- Drag the box and its corners, or press Detect margins. Choose whether it applies to every page, only this one, or Remove white margins from each page separately.
- Press Crop PDF and download it.
Cropping without losing quality
CLEKARA changes the visible area of each page (its crop box) instead of turning the page into an image, so text stays sharp and selectable and nothing is re-compressed.
Remove white margins draws every page in miniature, finds where the ink starts and ends, and crops each page to its own content — ideal for scanned books or slides with wide borders.
Worth knowing
Cropping hides what is outside the box, but it is still inside the file. Do not use it to remove confidential information.
Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
