Remove blank pages from a PDF
Double-sided scans of single-sided documents are full of empty backs. CLEKARA finds them, marks them in red, and removes them with one click once you have checked.

How blank pages are detected
Each page is drawn small and its “ink” is measured: the share of pixels clearly darker than the paper. The paper color is estimated from the page itself, so yellowed or gray scans are not mistaken for content, and a thin border is ignored, where scanners leave shadows and punch holes.
Three levels decide what counts as blank: completely empty, nearly empty (specks, a lone page number) or tolerant (one or two stray lines). Nothing is removed until you confirm, and the remaining pages are copied untouched.
Worth knowing
Pages with very faint content, such as a light pencil note, can look blank: review the marks before removing.
Bookmarks that pointed to removed pages are dropped; the rest of the document stays as it was.
