- Click a field and type; use Tab to jump to the next one. Tick check boxes, choose radio options and pick from drop-down lists.
- Press Save filled PDF. Tick Flatten the form if the values should become part of the page.
The values go into the form, not on top of it
Many tools only paint text over a form. CLEKARA writes each value into its field, the way Adobe Reader does, so whoever receives the PDF sees a properly filled form: the fields keep their names, the data can be read by other programs and the form can still be corrected.
If you flatten it, every value becomes fixed content of the page — useful when the document should no longer be changed.
Before the download appears, the saved PDF is opened again and every text value is read back to check it was written correctly.
Worth knowing
Forms made only with Adobe LiveCycle (XFA) have no standard fields and can only be filled in Adobe Reader; use Add text to write on them.
Field text is written with the standard PDF font, which covers Latin alphabets (accents and ñ included). For other alphabets, use Add text.
Signature fields are signed with Sign PDF. Calculations and scripts inside the form are not run.

Will the form still be editable?
